i can't belive it is time for fall aready. i am going to get my fall and halloween stuff down today and start putting it up here and there...this year has just folwn by...there are so many cute fall decorations i have been seeing in all the magazines..i really would love to throw some together. its just finding the time..but when i do i will be sure to post some pics.

last lake trip
so we are going on our last lake trip of the summer. it is very sad to say summer is coming to an end...really not looking foward to the cold weather..atleast i live in the arizona desert. so winters could be alot worse...i will miss my sunny warm day's though.......

Yummy Texas Sheet Cake for the Holiday Weekend
This Texas sheet cake is made with sour cream and cocoa and a frosting with chopped pecans.
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
•1 cup butter
•1 cup water
•1/4 cup cocoa
•2 cups sugar
•2 cups flour
•1/8 teaspoon salt
•2 eggs
•1 teaspoon baking soda
•1/2 cup sour cream
•1 teaspoon vanilla
Cake: Combine butter, water, and cocoa in saucepan over medium heat; heat until butter melts. Add sugar, flour, salt, eggs, soda, sour cream, and vanilla; mix well. Pour in a bakeing sheet and Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Spread frosting over hot cake.
Frosting
•1/2 cup butter

•1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk
•1 box (1 pound) confectioners' sugar, sifted (4 1/4 cups sifted)
•1/2 teaspoon vanilla
•1 cup chopped pecans
For frosting, combine butter, cocoa, and milk in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Add remaining ingredients and mix well with electric mixer. Add pecans then spread over the hot sheet cake.
