fall time

i can't belive it is time for fall aready. i am going to get my fall and halloween stuff down today and start putting it up here and there...this year has just folwn by...there are so many cute fall decorations i have been seeing in all the magazines..i really would love to throw some together. its just finding the time..but when i do i will be sure to post some pics.

last lake trip

so we are going on our last lake trip of the summer. it is very sad to say summer is coming to an end...really not looking foward to the cold weather..atleast i live in the arizona desert. so winters could be alot worse...i will miss my sunny warm day's though.......

So I made a few Bracelets check um out,

Yummy Texas Sheet Cake for the Holiday Weekend

This Texas sheet cake is made with sour cream and cocoa and a frosting with chopped pecans.
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
•1 cup butter
•1 cup water
•1/4 cup cocoa
•2 cups sugar
•2 cups flour
•1/8 teaspoon salt
•2 eggs
•1 teaspoon baking soda
•1/2 cup sour cream
•1 teaspoon vanilla

Cake: Combine butter, water, and cocoa in saucepan over medium heat; heat until butter melts. Add sugar, flour, salt, eggs, soda, sour cream, and vanilla; mix well. Pour in a bakeing sheet and Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Spread frosting over hot cake.

Frosting
•1/2 cup butter
•1/4 cup cocoa
•1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk
•1 box (1 pound) confectioners' sugar, sifted (4 1/4 cups sifted)
•1/2 teaspoon vanilla
•1 cup chopped pecans

For frosting, combine butter, cocoa, and milk in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Add remaining ingredients and mix well with electric mixer. Add pecans then spread over the hot sheet cake.

long long week

so i made a new necklace today for a customer that wanted to get her friend something special...she has 3 boy and one of them passed when he was 18 months...makes my heart hurt i cant even imagine...i sure do hope she enjoys the gift from her great friend....oxoxo

2 sick kids now...

so this morning i woke to one kid with a fever and by this afternoon i had 2 with fevers....no fun..hope they get better and the hubby and myself do not end up with it.

so today was my first long day with out kids..and guess what my oldest is home sick...man oh man..i sure do hope that we dont all get this...yuck

candle holder

so i have these candle holders that started out brown then went yellow because i felt i have way to much brown in my house....(it is my favorite color) so the yellow didn't look good at all i didn't think....so i pulled a color from my curtains and this is what i have done...im not sure...

chucky chesse or as my kids call it chunky chesses

so we went and had our first chucky chesse birthday...it was a wild wild time. but the kids loved it...i was very ready to go home.....we had a blast shopping, swiming and seein chunky haha....

1st. day of preschool

Wow i can't belive i have two kids in school now...what to do with myself...he loves prescool. it is a gym based school. the best of both worlds play and learn...haha

first day of 1st grade

So my baby started 1st grade today....It is great to see them grow but sad all at the same time. I walked him up to the school told him lets go find your class, but what I didn't know was he had already taken off to play with all the other kids...haha...they grow so fast...

wipes

Ok so I am going to put up a recipe for Baby Wipes...They were perfect when my boy's were babies....
They work so much better then store bought...Also no diaper rash when I started using them.

WIPES
In container mix together:
2 -Tablespoons of Baby Wash
2 -Tablespoons of Baby Lotion
1-Tablespoon of Baby Oil

Cut In half A roll of Paper Towel
(I get Bounty Super Mega Rolls)
Cut with smooth knife

Boil - 2 1/4 Cups of Water
When Water has come to a Rapid Boil,
Pour in to Container and mix everything together.

Then put Paper Towels in to the
container of mixture. Put lid on.
Let sit for about 15 mins. Then flip over till it is
absorbed in Paper towels completely.

Then pull out center paper thing.

Wipes are ready pull them from center also.

You can also make disinfectant wipes:

2 cups Water

1/4 to 1/2 cup All Purpose Clenser

Follow all other steps from baby wipes..

so school is going to be starting this week for my 1st grader. then monday for my pre-schooler.  not sure how i feel about it..it is a little sad i guess...but i sure will enjoy my mornings..haha

wow oh wow oh wow, it is one humid day here in az...love the monsoons but not fond of the humidity....and i cant belive that school starts on the 4th, then my sons birthday is on the 5th, then my other son starts preschool on the 8th. having 6 year olds party on the 12th...he wants phineas and ferb birthday party. it is not very easy to find phineas and ferb bday stuff in a small town or online.

so the search is on.....
